Agenda of Activities in Girona from May 24 to 30
We return to take over a few months ago with the posts that you can see every Thursday with the different activities that take place in our city, Girona. From CIS Sierra we want to offer our neighbors, and those visitors, useful information so you can enjoy the days in the capital to the fullest.
We are already at the end of May and after a week full of flowers, and people, it's time to go back to normal. Not because these extraordinary exhibitions have been completed means that the activities in this city have been finished since this is in constant movement.

Valentín Fargnoli. The landscape revealed
What: One of the most important photographers of the 20th century (1885-1944) transports us through Girona before the tourist development and its daily life, its families, its architecture and its landscapes.

What: The merchants of the city take the opportunity to change their usual stores for street stalls, usually offering products at discounted prices.

Spring Festival in Can Gibert del Pla
What: Party organized by the neighborhood association of Can Gibert del Pla on the occasion of spring and with a program full of activities:

What: Fair of tastings with beers from the house San Miguel and gastronomic tastings of different restaurants in the city. Every night, the experience will be accompanied by live music.

Juan Batlle Planas: the surrealist cabinet
What: Last day to visit the exhibition of surrealist artist Juan Batlle (1911-1966) born in Torroella de Montgrí but raised in Buenos Aires. A figure that went unnoticed inside the city but that wants to be revived with this exhibition of collages and paintings.

A walk through the history of San Pedro de Galligants
What: Dramatized visit to the monastery of Sant Pere de Galligans. A monastery that has been recorded since the X century and where Benedictine monks lived under the strict order of San Benet. A very entertaining and fun tour for young and old.
